Role Description

The Prose Train’s Ambassadors will lead outreach at their high school through four channels: friends, faculty, writing clubs, and other channels of publication. This is a low-commitment role with clear instructions and ample guidance. Ambassadors will mostly work on compiling names and contact information and emailing or messaging contacts.

Note: we are currently accepting one ambassador per school.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to friends or people who enjoy writing.
• Reach out to English teachers or librarians at the high school through email or in person to ask them to promote The Prose Train to their students.
• Reach out to writing club presidents to promote or partner with The Prose Train.
• Promote The Prose Train through any other available channels (e.g. school bulletins).

Qualifications

• Strong motivation and organization
• Attention to detail
• Previous participation in a Prose Train project

Those without outreach experience are encouraged to apply!
